Meet Barrissa, a Bay Area native and creator of The CourtsideMom. Barissa created TCM after spending many years on the basketball circuit with her stepson, Kyree Walker. She felt the need for mothers within the competitive youth basketball world to come together. Hence, her partnership with Nikki B, whom she befriended after years of watching their sons compete against each other since 4th grade.
Barrissa is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and she earned her MBA from Walden University. Now residing in Phoenix, Arizona, Barissa has worked as a real estate professional and entrepreneur.
